The Gryphon 4500 series is sleek, stylish, and features a user-friendly design, advanced sensors with warm-white illumination, and advanced 2D technology for a cost-effective photo solution. This omnidirectional imager is capable of reading a variety of 1D and 2D codes. Various high-density (HD) models are available to support smaller, condensed codes as well as Windows Digital Watermarking models with red illumination optics. The scanner's Motionix motion-sensing technology switches the scanner into a hand-held mode when picked up. It seamlessly returns to standing mode once it is placed back into the cradle. In presentation or a stand mode, while the scanner is charging, it can be used with the adjustable position cradle. The wireless models utilize either Bluetooth technology (GBT model) or narrowband radio communication with Datalogic's STAR Cordless System (GM model).
